Thermal Throttling on E14G2 Intel ? #18
Comments
Thermald should work fine. However, you can always try both of them and keep wich you like most |
Hey lads ! i happen to work for Lenovo - to be exact only started give or take 3 month ago , by the day 3 it already didnt make any sense how many L14, E14, T490/495 come as RMA and all of the had dead mainboards , tuned out we are 15% over with mainboard replacements then it forecasted this year by Lenovo. Some 2-3month back i have considered Lenovo to be fairly reliable , no more. Generaly speaking anything with intel chipset ME/CSME spi'si wouldn't touch with a stick. I belive that fault ratios are nearly 70/30 between Intel and AMD. |
I genuinely thought that most of these isues could have been resolved with firmware update , but on practice only 2-3 out of 10 systems are happy with this fix. Specifically iIntel, they are not having a good year several vulns in Me AMT CSME which honestly haven been patched since ThinkPawn , eventually device just ends up bricked. |
Hi,
I am receiving a ThiinkPad E14G2 (Intel) Model:20TA002CFR
By any chance, do you know if it is affected by the thermal throttling? If so, do you know if thermald can fix it? Or I should go for erpalma's tweak?
