I read recently that there was a change to one of the csafe portions of the spec in the latest versions of PM5 firmware as noted by the developer. This probably doesn't impact this emulator much, but I would be interested in having an ability to specify what version of the firmware is being emulated so developers testing apps against this can ensure they work with multiple versions.
or maybe the best way to do that is to just get the c2 firmware binaries to run in QEMU and use the real firmware (with maybe some hacks to fake the flywheel and button inputs) for testing. Alas - another one of my many abandoned side projects
