Email is not getting sent to a distribution list (DL) #50

I am able to send email to individual recipients, but when I try to send the email to a DL, it's not working. Is this a bug or a feature gap? Can someone please help me with this?

Can we not send email to a distribution list?
I am facing one more issue while trying to send email with @microsoft.com account. ClientSmtpAuthentication is disabled for microsoft tenant by default. It's not recommended to enable this settings unless there is strong reason to do so. For sending email using this extension, it requires ClientSmtpAuthentication to be enabled for the account. Is there a work around for this that allows sending email with @microsoft.com without having to enable this setting?
