The number of pagination buttons does not change when filtering

Describe the bug
On http://<wiki>/a/pages, when attempting to filter (search) a page when there are multiple page buttons already, their number does not change and pressing them does nothing.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to http://<wiki>/a/pages and try searching for a page that has many subpages.
2. If the search extends beyond one page, other buttons will function.
3. There are still too many pagination buttons, since they are rendered for all pages.

Expected behavior
The number of buttons is rendered as needed. There shouldn't be more buttons than there are pages to view.
