A warm hello to the open-source and @bigbluebutton community,

If you are reading this thread you probably know me as a long-term contributor to @bigbluebutton...or not yet.

After 2 months of internal development, I am happy to announce, in the name of @riadvice team, that we are putting ̶H̶i̶v̶e̶l̶v̶e̶t̶ BBBEasy onto the light 🥳

H̶i̶v̶e̶l̶v̶e̶t̶ BBBEasy is a new open-source integration specially design for @bigbluebutton. Not to lie https://github.com/bigbluebutton/greenlight brought the foundation of this project, the concept of "personal rooms manager". However after few years in production in our hosting environment we found that greenlight was not well-suited for all the use cases of the community.

Starting from the idea of a "personal rooms manager for BigBlueButton" we went to the goal to create a "multi-purpose personal rooms manager fully configurable for BigBlueButton".

The idea is simple, a room a name and unique link, plus a preset. Configuration presets will be one of the core concepts behind the product. Fine-grained permissions, roles, labels and few others features will add a real value to the manager.

Our team is very close to release the pre-alpha version. We are finishing the docker packaging.

The project has been renamed to BBBEasy after a long debating. BigBlueButton is easy to use with bbbeasy as a room manager!
