Hello @RaiKoHoff ,

My feeling is that this section [Toolbar Labels] which allows to add a description to the right of a Toolbar Icon is very little used. 🤔
I suggest removing this section completely.

Let's see the vote or reactions of other users of Notepad3. 🤔

Long Comment: Hi, I am a long time user of Notepad3 (since its inception, and Notepad2 beforehand) and have been regularly following the GitHub topics and issues, although I've been trying to avoid signing up to GitHub, so in the past I have reported a few bugs (promptly fixed, thanks) in the past via email and on Rizeonesoft website (I know not really the correct way, sorry), but seeing this topic has made me open an account on GitHub to say please keep this feature, I make use of it, and I think more people would too if they knew about it, and since it is already all coded and working I can't see a reason to remove it, maybe make the documentation of it more accessible would be a better idea? or if any coding time is going to be devoted to it include a GUI way of toggling buttons captions.

Thanks to everyone that is keeping this project going, I really appreciate the effort y'all are putting in. Now that I have caved in and signed up to GitHub I will try to regularly contribute to this project to the best of my abilities (which are admittedly lacking) if there are no objections.

I should mention I realize you are trying to trim down the size of the initial base setup ini file, so perhaps it could be removed from that, but keep the functionality for those people that read the documentation and are willing to add in the parts that they need manually, in hindsight that is probably what your proposal was originally anyway. If that's all you meant, remove from base ini file, but keep functionality if the section is present, then I agree.

No, the goal was not to try to reduce the size of Notepad3.ini (max -760 bytes). 😉

In any case, if this feature is used by users, there is no valid reason to remove it.

As far as I'm concerned, this issue may be closed....
