These are really great. Do you know of an easy way to download the d3 object as a static image? I've googled around and none of the solutions that I have found seem to work very well. If you have any advice, that would be great!

Hi Paul
The simplest solution I've found is the SVG Crowbar 2 Chrome plugin, which exports the image fairly faithfully. Unfortunately hidden layers don't stay hidden though, so the svg file needs a little manual cleanup to show only the features that you want to be visible.
