Thank you for developing very useful software.

A dpi of downloaded image seems to be fixed at 72.

Is it possible to change this value?

The DPI of the images output by iipsrv depends on the DPI set in the source TIFF or JPEG2000 image metadata. Change the DPI there and it will show the correct DPI in the output image.

Note that if you output a resized image, the server will take this into account and adjust the DPI correctly for that particular size.
