Trying to snap windows to edges of multiple displays

When trying to snap windows on the edges between multiple displays, I find myself having to be very precise with the placement of my cursor so I can have it snap to the edge, rather than just moving the window to my other display. I have to be on just the edge pixel of the display to get it to snap properly. Is there a way to make it so this threshold is a bit bigger so I don't have to be as precise? Or, when snapping windows on Windows, slowly dragging it towards the edge between two displays prompts the snap, whereas dragging quickly between the border moves the window to the next screen. Is this a possible feature for ease of use when snapping windows alongside the edges of two displays?
Also, is there a way to change the outline color of the snap preview? I have a hard time viewing where the window will be snapped to unless I look carefully.
