Contrib Projects Contrib Tools are Sakai-specific tools and innovations developed and tested by community members and then released for others to use outside of the packaged core Sakai release. These tools offer unique functionality or alternatives to augment Sakai's capabilities. They are managed by sub-groups in the community who choose to do so, and are not part of Sakai OOTB (out of the box) and are not supported by the broader community necessarily.

Apereo Projects Sakai is one of many projects overseen and supported by the non-profit, 100% Open, Apereo Foundation.
