Thanks for the idea! While in theory this would make a lot of sense, I'm afraid this would get quite complicate with different viewports. One would need to take into account the angle to determine the shading. (I'm normally also a bit hesitant to use shadings because not all programs can deal with them. For example if editing a pdf which has shadings in it, they often disappear if one edits the file with inkscape) |

First of all, nice package!!
What about a shading in stud color to mix both side and front colors. Or maybe split the stud in two pieces to give better notion of light effects.
