The created by field controls the edit authorization of the participant. It happened for #sitMUC that one participant lost access to his S-User due to changing his job. He wanted to update his registration information. That was only possible by using SQL as an admin to update the CreatedBy field. The Organizer should be able to make the changes if requested.
