I think it would be interesting to try to integrate FIDO U2F hardware tokens. An interesting property of it is that it is going to be integrated with browsers (Chrome already supports it), and that it then has per-origin keys generated. So you can use one hardware token for many purposes. This makes it much more interesting for people to really use it.
