We've just released Uchiwa 1.3.0 which adds concurrency to the Uchiwa backend process. This new version should perform significantly faster on large installations with multiple CPU cores to utilize. |
Hi @ChrisOnToure @yakirgb @doublenns, Will you please take a look and the new 1.3.0 release and let us know whether or not this addresses the latency you have been experiencing? Your feedback is much appreciated! |
Awesome news, thank you! Will plan the deployment and let you know then outcome. |
@ChrisOnToure Uchiwa 1.3.1 packages can be found in the apt & yum repositories: https://docs.uchiwa.io/getting-started/installation/ |
Hi sorry for late catch up. We deployed Uchiwa 1.5.0. The version feels snappier and overall faster. But still we reached 12k clients on 5 DCs and its far from being considered fast. |
We currently monitor around 9000 Clients with Sensu + Uchiwa in 5 different data centers.
When viewing all 9000 clients the dashboard becomes almost unusable slow. Is this a fact we need to accept or are there any tips how to improve Uchiwa performance with a large amount of servers.
Calling the Sensu server API directly is fast, so I believe it has something to do how Uchiwa gets the data and processes it.
Any suggestions are highly appreciated.
