Handle long branch names better

The feature request

We work with long branch names matching our Jira issue number and title, for instance:
On branch RVS-7388-TV-The-unit-status-is-not-being-updated-after-the-node-recovers-from-a-panic
The Current branch menu item truncates this even though there are plenty of space:

You might not have long to wait - in the 3.4.9 release (which hasn't been released on this fork yet) you can now resize the Branch and Push/Pull toolbar buttons - widening the Branch one widens the Branches tab below it.
