Comment from Wolfgang on the "Plan a review service for software project plans"

Is this the "incubator" idea we had previously discussed? If so, maybe add that phrase somewhere?

@nniiicc is this part of the Incubator and should we add a comment here?

Is the idea to help people develop a software project plan like a data management plan? This isn't currently in the incubator per se .... If this is a separate idea like consulting on software management plans it might go better under policy and/or outreach activities. @danielskatz @sandragesing - thoughts?

@nniiicc I think the idea is more the first thing you said, reviewing a plan and providing feedback. So, if it is not related to incubators, then we can just close the issue. It seems like more of a review service than an incubation service, so I do not think it fits. I am just trying to make sure since it was raised as a comment.

While I don't think a review services makes sense for us, maybe this is something that we could change to provide examples of good plans, and move to community (best practices)? @karthik, any thoughts?

@danielskatz are you suggesting that we drop Section 6.2.3 and just move this item to Community as "providing examples of best practices"? If that is the way that people want to go, I can make that change. This was just an item that came out of the workshop notes, so I want to make sure it would be ok to remove it from the plan.

Sorry, I didn't fully read 6.2.3 before I wrote my comment. Having now done so, I think 6.2.3 makes sense as something that we don't have the funds to do. My suggestion was for something that we could do now, so it's probably more of an addition than a substitution.

So, I suggest we just leave the item in Section 6 as is. If we want to add something to Community, maybe we open a new issue for that?

that seems ok to me

Ok, I am moving this issue over to community and removing it from education. I will leave it open in case the history of discussion is helpful for deciding how to address in community.
