Command runner can get size (in kilobytes) of repo (du -ks). Frontend would convert kilobytes to megs/gigs as appropriate for display, but would store an integer number of kilobytes. (Since du alwayrs reports the number of disk blocks used, it's going to be a multiple of 4k).
