The new format of SpellingStatus.xml file ("pt9" and "pt9all" types) supports an optional "SpecificCase" element that seems to indicate capitalisation of the word.
Currently the "SpecificCase" element is ignored, so "Alabama" and "alabama" are both accepted.
We could add an option to exclude words with a "SpecificCase" element (essentially ignoring proper names), so neither "Alabama" nor "alabama" would be accepted.
We could add an option to process "SpecificCase" elements and enforce capitalisation, so "Alabama" would be accepted but "alabama" would not.

From MH: Hunspell by default is case insensitive but you can set a flag to require the case given (as in Alabama/X and then KEEPCASE X in the .aff file).
