Path encoding issue when opening attachments

There appears to be a problem regarding the encoding of paths:

In my Zotero database, all attachments are located within /home/void/Öffentlich/ and opening these attachments from Zotero itself works just fine. However, when I try to open such an attachment from Qnotero, nothing happens. On the terminal, I see that the path is malformed:

gvfs-open: /home/void/�ffentlich/ ... .pdf: error opening location: Error when getting information for file '/home/void/�ffentlich/ ... .pdf': No such file or directory

I would appreciate it very much if you could fix this. It happens on Ubuntu 14.04.
