Geomagic touch, binary or source?

I am facing the same issues of discussion #3809, I commented there but I don't know if the comment will be notified since the discussion is already labeled as answered. I have the binary version of SOFA, installed on Windows 10. I am using TouchX device, and I have installed the newest driver because otherwise, the device wouldn't connect correctly to the laptop. The device is fully working in the testing environments coming from the 3D Systems website.
After calibrating and testing, I ran SOFA, and I opened a scene taken from the plugin examples. The scene opens correctly, without errors, and imports Geomagic correctly, but there is no interaction whatsoever with the scene. No device appears, and there are no movements.
I read the conversation #3809, and I don't understand if the compiling process you suggested there is the same I should follow since I have the binary version of SOFA, or this plugin is not designed to work on the binary version and I should start downloading the source one.

Indeed so far, this plugin is not functional as is in the release. Maybe this is something we could work on @bakpaul @epernod

So as you wrote above, the plugin source should be extracted and compiled separately from the binary 👍 The other discussion #3809 should detail this well. Keep us posted.
