Sometime around Chrome version 114, video sites like Netflix that use Widevine DRM started clamping down on "PLATFORM_UNVERIFIED" status for Verified Media Path (VMP) in web browsers. This essentially means that unless you get your application signed by Google, you can't watch stuff on those sites anymore.

We've seen the writing on the wall for a while now, but it seems we're stuck if we want to support legitimate video sites. The irony is not lost on me.
Maybe someday we'll find a solution, and thus, here's an issue for it.
