We are pleased to announce the Technical Preview of our fully reimagined Sort! Over the past several months we’ve carefully listened to your feedback and redesigned how Sort can help you collaborate on your data. Starting today, Sort now supports collaboration on any Postgres or Snowflake database. Simply add your database connection, invite your co-workers and start collaborating with your team. We’re excited for you to try our new approach and listen to your thoughts. Our goal is to lower the barrier of entry to database collaboration, and this is just the beginning. What we’re previewing today is our team manager and collaborative query builder for Postgres and Snowflake and much, much more is coming soon like full SQL query editing, issue reporting and a robust change management solution for your most demanding business needs. Stay tuned for a blog post to describe our vision in more detail.

In addition to our new data collaboration suite, we’re rolling out support for both Public and Private database sources. Simply edit your database connection settings to allow the public to review the data and run your shared queries. Try it out and let us know how we can make it even better.

Previously Sort was focused purely on public blockchain data but we learned that many of you want to collaborate on your private databases too. We’re enthusiastic about our new approach and are very much looking forward to hearing from you to build our ideal solution together.
