@rabol I had a work around that you might use if you want
ALTER TABLE table_name ALTER COLUMN json_column TYPE VARCHAR USING json_column #>> {}
public static function configureCipherSweet(EncryptedRow $encryptedRow): void
{
$encryptedRow
->addField('json_column')
...
} |

I have read the original documentation and the repo readme but I could not find anything that could help me through encrypting json fields but when I digged deep into the code of the package I found that when they encrypt the json field with json map configuration it takes the json column form the database without making json decode to the selected column and it known that by default that it should be decoded in Laravel so the package can access the json fields to decrypt it.
so Can anyone help me with this issue??
