I would like an option to automatically empty the full page cache when a post or page is edited in WordPress. I noticed a few times today when making changes to a few sites, I would log out of wp admin then browse to the website an hour or two later only to notice I needed to (and forgot) to empty the page cache after making said changes.

That makes sense to some scenarios. I myself have a site, blog, where the posts are spread in several places/components. So if I add a post or edit it and that update is not reflected in the various pages where this particular article is, that's not good.
I would just recommend making this optional, via settings or hooks.
