Hello!, My name is Philip. I'm a software engineer who is
passionate about making open source more accessible
and building community, online & offline.
I enjoy working with other developers, helping other developers,
teaching, inspiring, and sharing ideas about other technologists by creating
approachable learning material to make the complex learning curve easier for newbies.

For work, I am currently
focused on improving my skills and championing the need for consistency in developers' daily lives.
Outside of work, I am a maintainer in the Asakatsu organization which is created for developers to keep them accountable and help developers stay consistent to a goal with a clear workable path to achieving their goals.
Asakatsu also welcomes first-time contributors to open-source, helping them get familiar with the use of Git and GitHub using .md, and .txt files.

Supporting me on GitHub directly supports my ongoing efforts to create
educational software and web development related-content and contribute to open source.
Contributing to documentation and multiple open-source projects helps me and other developers
build connections, experience team development, and get the feel of working on a single task at a time which makes the development experience easier.
