TeemIp project started in 2011 with the ambition to develop an open source, simple though comprehensive solution to provide DNS, DHCP and IP Management services strongly linked with a rich CMDB. At that time, too many companies were relying on spreadsheets to maintain their IP space: the price and complexity of DDI solutions from vendors were high enough to discourage them to invest into decent tools. This is still the case today.

Based on iTop, an open source, ITIL, web based, service management tool and framework, TeemIp is now a mature project 🙂 that is regularly enriched with new features for the DDI world, the CMDB - a key development axis, now - and their interactions.

The solution has been (and still is) developed and maintained by xtophe38, an enthusiastic DDI engineer who dedicated a significant amount of his spare time to the project. 🤓

What’s next ? Well, TeemIp's team have plenty of ideas for new developments. It just has to find the time to work on them… Sponsorship ? For sure, that would help the team maintaining TeemIp's infrastructure, beside keeping the motivation high to continue the story 😎
