I'm dedicated to making impactful contributions to open source projects. The most recent open source project I worked on include:

  • Git Ukrainian Localization - provides uk localization of git CLI.
  • OWASP BLT - implements a tool for bug logging and issue reporting.
  • OWASP Nettacker - automates penetration testing and vulnerability scanning. I'm a GSoC 2024 mentor for this project.
  • Python Holidays - provides fast, efficient way for generating and working with holidays in Python.
  • refine.bio - harmonizes petabytes of publicly available biological data into ready-to-use datasets for cancer researchers and AI/ML scientists.
  • ScPCA Portal - exposes the processed data from Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation's Single-cell Pediatric Cancer Atlas project.

I have a keen interest in home automation, creative problem-solving, clean code, and information security. My most recent certifications include AWS Certified Security, CCSP, CISSP (CSSLP is work in progress). In my free time I enjoy tinkering with my Raspberry Pi Home Assistant setup.
