I am an experienced contributor to open-source projects, specifically WordPress. I am also a core committer, having been a design lead for several releases and core-editor tech lead for one. I have led a default theme release and also was the design lead for phase one of Gutenberg, the block editor.

Previously I was a full-time contributor and I am now looking to continue my work as a contributor. I am currently working on editing experience and contributing as a core committer to WordPress. I will use funds to donate my time to the project core, focus on the core editor, triage tickets in core and work on the default theme task force. I will also create community themes and patterns to give back to the health of block-based themes.
