Hi, I'm @matt335672, based in the town on Wimborne Minster in the UK.

I spend my available free tech time working on xrdp as a maintainer - I'm part of the xrdp core developer team. Much of this work is triaging customer issues and fixing faults. I'm also making efforts to move the product forwards with a focus on session management.

Professionally I've worked for a few decades both as a C/C++ developer and a Linux (and Solaris) systems administrator. These roles give me insight into where and how xrdp is used, and allow me also to update the product accordingly.

xrdp is a collaborative project; I've made contributions to other projects as part of my xrdp work including TigerVNC/tigervnc, and armbian/build.

Getting sponsorship will allow me to justify spending more of my free time on xrdp development.
