I’m a developer with a passion for programming, data privacy, artificial intelligence and software licensing. I use my presence on the internet to promote free software. I'm the leader of the packetevents project, currently empowering over 20K servers. If you’re reading this, and you benefit from my software, consider supporting my projects. Sponsoring projects not only funds developers, but it also allows projects to thrive, as money can be set aside for enhancement.
More about me
I’m a self-taught programmer, born in 2005. I’ve spent the most of my life in Austria. Like most kids, I’ve always had a passion for games. In 2018, I made use of the drive I had. My mind, imbued with curiosity, made me start programming. Despite the unavailability of equipment in my house, I still tried. If need be, I coded on paper. I was working on games, render engines, Minecraft plugins, and more.
Fast forward to 2020, I began my first relevant project during the COVID lockdown; today known as packetevents. It started out as some simple abstraction for another project of mine. However, it grew to become a complete library.
In 2022, I learned about software licensing philosophy. I was concerned, as many developers just weren’t informed. I made it a goal to promote education on software licensing, including free software. You can avoid the repercussions of neglecting software licenses by merely learning about them. Not only that, but you get to understand different ways of protecting your software.
Circling back to the topic of sponsoring.
If you benefit from the decision I made years ago, which was to release my software for free, consider supporting me.
