I'm a PhD student in bioinformatics that builds tools for computational biologists. Unfortunately, science doesn't found tooling work well, or webservers, so most of the projects I maintain, I maintain in my "free time" on my own resources.

When I do have funds, I use them to pay students in their early career stages (e.g. Masters) working on improving, maintaining and extending bioinformatics tools.

Over the years, I've contributed to countless web servers for bioinformatics tools (the famous ones: evcouplings.org, biofactoid.org, bioembeddings.com), and I plan to add many more in the years to come :)
