Hi! I'm Dist, I've been developing tools for streamers on Twitch for over 7 years now, with a focus on channel/platform analytics, channel bots, and site safety. For the last 5 years I have also been a freelance event engineer which has lead to my interest in developing tools for production teams.

Current Projects

• vMix module for Bitfocus Companion - A module that allows controlling of vMix and displaying feedback using a Streamdeck.
• Twitch module for Bitfocus Companion - A module for displaying the streaming status of user selected channels on Twitch, controlling chat mode state, reporting chat activity over time, and allow sending of messages at the press of a button.
• TwitchDev Discord Server - I help run the TwitchDev Discord community of over 10,000 users, as well as moderate the TwitchDev Stream.
• Twitch Extension Developer - I consult on Twitch Extensions, as well personally maintaining a couple for games such as the Ubisoft Just Dance series.
• Twitch Safety - Using site-wide chat to detect and manage malicious and offensive users at the earliest possible opportunity, as well as researching ways to increase detection rates and prevent false-positives of other public tools.
• vMix API Util - Util to list all available vMix functions and easily build requests for the HTTP REST API.

• Battersea Ultimate Showdown - Technical Director for the Battersea Dogs and Cats home Ultimate Showndown 2019 charity stream.
• Red Bull's Race for Worlds First - VT/GFX Op for Red Bull's 2019 World of Warcraft's Azshara's Eternal Palace race.
• DistBot - A private Twitch analytics bot, with minute by minute data going back 7 years.
• Twitch-API-v5 - A NodeJS module for Twitch's now deprecated v5 Kraken API.

What Sponsorship Does
Aside from what each tier specifically offers, Sponsorship allows me to continue developing public, free to use, tools for everyone from hobbyist Twitch Streamers, to Triple A games studios, to Event Production Studios.

The cost of software licenses and server infrastructure to develop and host these tools is entirely out of my own pocket, so it's thanks to sponsors that I can justify the ongoing costs of development and servers.
