Hi! Thanks for considering sending money to me.

I solemnly promise that sending or not sending me money will make no difference either way to my work on CPython, but I wouldn't want to deprive you of the opportunity if that's what you want to do.

As long as I'm fully employed, I'll probably send any donations to US charities along with a dollar-for-dollar match from my employer. No promises on which ones though, so if you love a particular charity, give them your money instead of me. (Also, if you'd like to start a charity that sends me coffee, I can send you donations.)

Reaching this goal will let me know that 10 people are sending me money. Then I'll pick a bigger goal.

The Pretending Steve Is Our Employee Club! I don't show up for work very often, but now you can pay me as if I do! This is the highest tier I'm allowed to put, and my marketing professor would roll over in his grave if I didn't try and anchor you all with it.
