4-space indent appears to work in https://studentrobotics.org/runbook/kit/event-operations/battery-charging/ so this may be that 2-space indent doesn't render right.

If that is the case, it needs to be documented somewhere. Do we have a page on how to edit the runbook?

The contributing page has a few references on best practice around editing, it probably makes sense to add there https://studentrobotics.org/runbook/contributing/
