Dell 9570: 4k@60Hz via HDMI #43
Comments
Are you sure about this statement? I can't get 60hz via HDMI too as it should be a 1.4v (so no 60hz@4k), but it should be possible via USB-C/Thunderbolt to DisplayPort |
Apologies for the confusion. I'm referring to 9570 model actually. |
EDID from monitor maybe wrong https://devtalk.nvidia.com/default/topic/939971/linux/4k-60hz-works-in-windows-not-in-linux-workaround-found-/1 Those may help you but i don't have any hardware with a hdmi 2.0 to test it out yet |
First of all thanks for this amazing work!
Now the question: is there a way to enable 4k monitor refresh rate to be higher than 30Hz via HDMI?
It works in Windows so not a hardware issue with cable or screen. I have tried setting it up while using Intel or Nvidia but no luck.
Thank you!
