Summary

Hello, I'm not tech-savy and unsure if this counts as a bug, but to a layman it kind of appears as one?

When going to a website (that wasn't google/youtube etc.) a banner seemingly from google showed at the top of the page in a foreign language that I could not change. It was a low resolution banner that looked like something you'd see from a sketchy website rather than google, I have attached an image.

Banner

If this really is from google and not malicious or a bug, do you know what it is? If the site is using some google services thing, why does this not pop up for other sites using their services? I've been to this site before and it was a little jarring to see that happen only with the new browser config I just downloaded.

If you don't know what this is, is it safe to keep using the browser?

Also, I'd like to know if any of us are unsure of something being a bug, is it ok to post it here? I just figured it'd be best to post here because I thought it might be, but if you don't want this part cluttered then lmk to just post in discussions.

Thanks for your time
