Phase 2 item?

@hmin I'm worried that device capabilities is supposed to be a phase 2 item. I think we are supposed to get the phase 1 items to LC before we start working on phase 2 stuff? (otherwise, the group's bandwidth will be diminished).

Yes, device capabilities API is scheduled in Phase II which is originally planned to be started in Q3 2013, right? I am wondering when will Phase I get done? Thanks.

I personally can't remember us setting any date to start Phase 2. At least I can't see it documented on the sysapps page or the wiki. Do you have a pointer?

Regarding finishing Phase 1 - we need everyone's help finishing off those items. The more people we have helping finish those off, the more quickly we can move to Phase 2.

Is it possible that you could help with some of those?

I saw the rough roadmap at http://www.w3.org/2012/09/sysapps-wg-charter.html. It indicates that Phase II will be FPWD in Q3~Q6, I think it should be Q3 2013, right?

Do you think what is the best practice to help finish those off?

Personally, I think we should. However, the Chairs are in a better position to make that call. Hopefully they will weigh in soon. They have stopped other Phase 2 stuff from starting (eg, secure elements).

As a reminder, the resolution from the F2F is that this proposal should be re-worked with stronger use cases before being a working item of the SysApps WG. Feel free to work on this as an unofficial draft in the meantime.
