Hey @Jaspermoray, Sorry for the delay! This seems like a version conflict with the zmq package, specifically that it is not the M1 version. I haven't seen this before and am surprised it would even happen, but if I had to guess, maybe something else was installed in the environment that pulled in a conflicting version? Apologies for the inconvenience though -- we're working on a precompiled Apple Silicon package so this is less finicky, but it's been tricky with the patchwork support for Apple Silicon for all of our dependencies. If you don't mind, it'd be super helpful if you could share the outputs of:

Hi devs,
I'm going to quit using my M1 mac to run sleap, because it's a little too hard at this point. But before I do, I figured it tell you about a bug I ran into. I ran sleap like usual, then opened Anaconda navigator to do some python coding, and it totally broke sleap. I couldn't open up the program at all any more. Here is the error:
