I think for anyone landing up on our homepage directly, there's not a clear path to discovery of content.
Plausible Analytics validates this hunch. Many visitors who land on the homepage go no further.
This is a rough mock. I was envisioning providing a casual direction to these visitors.

and/highlights
page that shows a well designed page showcasing 4,5 key links.A sample mock for what the highlights could look like :
To start off, we can just manually change the content of these pages at a set frequency.
