Cannot play or record audio when using pipewire

Describe the bug.

I have installed pipewire, and Tenacity displays

when recording audio, and

when trying to play audio.

Tenacity only works when run with pw-jack tenacity-linux--x86_64.AppImage.

Expected behavior

I expected to be able to record and play audio with pipewire in Tenacity, out of the box.
