Atom destroys Special Characters (UTF-8 vs. Western) #1

Atom automatically changes the file format of the bmx file to UTF-8. But special characters as ä, ö, ü etc. need to be in e.g. Western to create a normal output after compiling.

When changing the file-format manually to any Western type it is saved in western, but changes back to UTF-8 again when reopening the file.

Any suggestions? Changing the standard in Atom or changing BMX to work with UTF-8 as well?
