Video not showing

I've entered the directory to the video using
wallset --video down-wallset/examples/videos/dream.mp4

The terminal responds back with
Preparing the video......

but the video isn't showing when i check. What am I doing wrong

I found the same problem in Ubuntu 21.10 and no idea how to fix it!

Same problem on kali-xfce
Also when I try to set an image:

$ wallset -S -a ./examples/wallpapers/example-to-wallset-4.jpg

$ echo $?
1

I did some changes on the wallset.sh so that it can work with the xfce, but sadly nothing is changed.

Same exact situation for me.
I'm on Fedora 37 using xorg.
I've noticed that while loging out I sometimes catch a glimpse and while logging in too.
