Short trajectories cause joint acceleration term to start at time step -1

We need to take a look at the logic setting that. There's probably just a copy and paste error somewhere. Additionally, some asserts checking that the start is >0 and end < last would probably be good. Adding a warning when the trajectory is too short for a cost might be nice as well.
