get write access to the public repo at

This information seems pretty much outdated (?)
So... I'd like to propose a fix for one extension by submitting a PR. I see that there is a PR in this repo from September 2016, still not merged, so I wonder how exactly to contribute and be sure that fix will end up in PyPi soon™?
