search doesn't work as expected on models with inheritance

If I have model defined which is then inherited (in doctrine) by other classes. (e.g Content as base class, and then Article, Review which uses inheritance type column_aggregation.

It would be great if we could search on the base model to get all object from inheriting models with only one search request that comply with search.
