Box should be ...

  • big enough to fit experiment setup into it

  • as light tight as possible in 350 - 500 nm range (if possible spectrometer should not measure any counts)

  • include protection against beta radiation --> easy handling and protection against sources possible

  • positioned on moveable table

  • Setup should be improved with respect to reproduce ability

  • Design and build mount for Strong beta source

Concerning the Box I would propose to buy a bread board (for example from THORLAPS) which is big enough to screw the Spectrometer and mount the tile stage on, as a bottom plate.

Concerning the box size, 1m² should be sufficient.
