- 5 dl wheat flour
- 1-2 tablespoons of cinnamon
- 1 dl of sugar
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla sugar
- 0,5 teaspoon of salt
- 1 teaspoon of baking soda
- (optional: 2,5dl dried mixed fruit)
- (optional: 1,5dl chocolate chips)
- 3 ripe bananas (as ripe and dark as possible)
- 2 large eggs
- 60g butter
- 60g Turkish yogurt
- Mix dry ingredients
- Mash room temperature butter, Turkish yogurt and bananas together.
- Add eggs to banana butter mix. Mix until no streaks of yellow are visible
- Add dry ingredients to mixture.
- Pour into a buttered bread pan.
- Bake for 45-55 min at 175 C.
- Test with a chopstip: Insert chopstick, if batter does not stick to chopstick, banana bread is ready.
