Summary

Up-to-date high quality relevant content about each component and each product inside the TON ecosystem on the community-driven multilingual platform.

Wiki is been working by the decentralized community inside TON Community, so that everyone can freely join us.

  1. Regular original, updated content in different languages: all in one place, comfortable for all TON Ecosystem users
  2. Active community engagement (non-techies can participate)
  3. Thanks to the indexing Wiki articles by search engines, it will attract thousands of new users to join TON Ecosystem.

Wiki Target users

  • Active participants (TON Community members who can write, native speakers, editors)
  • Consumers: newcomers to the world of Web 3. Those who have heard something about TON and blockchain in general, current users of the TON ecosystem
  • TON investors, sponsors, junior developers

Wiki is useful for the whole ecosystem because it's join all valuable information in one platform in different languages.

And it is valuable for future generations because it is a kind of TON chronicle.

Estimate suggested reward

We want to attract best authors and translators from the TON Community and reward them for their contribution.
We have the current Wiki rates (contribution reward system).

In the first (Introductory) milestone, we request a budget of $5,000 in TON, which will be used according to the rates, after the jury members approve the relevant submissions. Approximate number of texts (in different languages) we will create for TON Wiki within this budget: 60+.

This budget includes the rewards for authors and translators, editors, wiki site administrator, SMM, Jury members.

Articles should be translated into at least 5 languages at this stage (translators):

Also we will make some Wiki technical improvements to have every language zone in different subdomains.

TON Wiki Monthly Report: FEBRUARY 2024

In February, three people actively contributed.

TON WIKI Team Report is HERE

What have been done

  • Wiki site has been launched and is being maintained
  • 2 working chats: International and Russian-speaking were created
  • Interraction with the Community which has grown to 100 users
  • Guides how to start contribute were created
  • 3 new articles were written
  • The main article was rewritten
  • 2 articles were translated into English
  • 2 editors checked 3 articles.

In March, we are ready for the new authors' inclusion for more active content creation and translation work. We are adapting our Wiki site for convenient language section management.
