The current language selector doesn't offer many configuration options. Here are some possible improvements:

Player heads as flags (in addition to banners)
Open on join
Open on the first join
Follow the order on config
Show translation percentage of that specific language
Allow customization of the lore
Maybe allow setting the row amount and where each item is
