I find the usage of the --speed option quite pointless currently. I was 
actually expecting that the time would just run faster and there would be more 
balls launched per real time frame, but the simulation just happens faster.
At --speed 20 you can barely see any balls on screen, as they travel about 
200px per frame.

I've put a fixed version on https://github.com/stsydow/Logstalgia.

--speed controls the log parsing and --time-scale the animation.
May be I've swaped the meaning of the parameters, but it works at least.
